CIRCLE   UNION  WRITES  TO  CHIEF POSTMASTER GENERAL,  WEST BENGAL, DEMANDING  RESUMPTION  OF  TRAINING  AND  CONTINUE  JOINING  PROCESS  AGAIN

After meeting and discussions with all officers  of Circle Office, Circle Secretary Group-C, has formally issued a letter addressing the Chief PMG Smt. Arundhaty Ghosh, demanding resumption of training at different divisions which started before issuing the order dated 27.04.2015 from Postal Directorate to halt all processes except verification as well as take action to remove the halt. The letter is given below.

We have noted that even after assurance of continuing the training, no order is issued from Circle Office, though the Directorate's order did not have such instruction to stop training which already started. This appeared to be highly irregular and in contravention of the order dated 27.04.2015.

The Circle Office is now saying that Directorate has instructed to stop all ongoing trainings over phone. We have protested such action in this letter. We have also informed our General Secretrary N.Subramanium in Delhi to take up the matter with Directorate.

However, our Circle Office is saying that in West Bengal, there is no serious problem and everything is expected to be cleared shortly. We still want to make it clear that we must not depend on such assumptions and should continue our exercises.

Therefore, we request everyone to please attend tomorrow's meeting convened by the NFPE Circle Union, at Circle Union Office at 12:00 noon. NFPE, the largest union of this department, having more than 70% membership in India and even more in West Bengal, is by your side with full strength and support. We shall discuss the situation openly, its probable solutions including legal scope and provisions.
