A general meeting organized today by Kolkata GPO union for felicitate new employees(Rule 38), scholar students of Madhyamik & Higher Secondary and players of Bengal Postal Teams at Registration delivery branch of Kolkata GPO. On this occasion renowned professor Dr. Ambikesh Mahapatra, Ex Convenor of All India Mahila Sub Committee, Ex-Vice president AIPEU CHQ, Ex-Circle Office bearer Comrade Nanda Sen, Circle Secretary Group C,Comrade Asit Bangabas,Circle Asst Secretary, Comrade Adhir Das, Circle Asst treasurer, Bibhas Ghara, Comrade Mridul Bhattacharya(Famous Comedy artist), Kolkata GPO Deputy Director Shri Prashanta Patra were present there to felicitate all officials. Comrade Shambhu Chakraborty & Comrade Ashok Sarkar presided over the program.
