A blood donation camp was organised yesterday by our Barasat Divisional Unions at Barasat Head Post Office. The program was inaugurated by Sri Dibyendu Roy, Divisional Superintendent. Chief guest was Com. Subrata Banerjee, Dy. G.S., P-IV union (CHQ).

       The inspiration and energy of our comrades was so high that ignoring the continuous rains, 84 comrades donated blood in the camp including 6 lady comrades.

     On behalf of the Circle Unions, apart from Com. Subrata Banerjee, Com. Asim Deb, Com. Asit Bangabas (Gr-C), Com. Nilratan Chakraborty (AIPEU GDS) and Com. Sujit Pramanik (P/T organisation) were also present.

        We also acknowledge and thank the presence of other administrative representations --- Sri Dipak Saha (ASPOs HQ), Sri Alokesh Biswas (ASPOs Barasat Sub-Divn) and Sri Biplab Bhattacharya (Postmaster, Barasat H.O.).
