                                                  and commencement of sale of forms of WBSSC – regarding.

Dear Sir,

               

               You know it well that at the call of Confederation and the organizations [ like, NFPE / FNPO/ GDS ( NFPE ) etc ] of Postal Department, all cross section of Postal Employees like other employees of different Central Govt. establishment will go on All India Strike on 12 – 13 Feb’2014 on 15 points charter of demands. In this direction, already the All India Organizations have issued strike notice at Postal Director, New Delhi. Not only that, it is not a sudden Strike. Decision of this Strike was taken well in advance on 10 January 2014, which had coverage by several media also.

               On the other, at present in West Bengal Circle we are in full swing to sale examination kits of West Bengal School Service Commission. Our employees, in spite of several short comings of our Department (as we have mentioned in our letter of even no. dtd 5.2.2014) are trying at their level best to serve the applicants as well as our Department. However, it is learnt that SSC has notified that next phase of sale of forms will be started from 12 Feb’2014 i.e. on the first day of our All India strike. This will only exaggerate the present ongoing problems of public agitation and violence which we have been experiencing                                             
 in different Post Offices everyday in our Circle due to scarcity of forms.

                In these circumstances, we urge upon you to approach Staff Selection Commission so that next phase of sale of forms gets started on or after 14^th Feb 2014 to avoid public harassment and untoward incident. We hope that considering the gravity of this case you will pursue this case with WBSSC with top most priority.
