Successfully completed joint Biennial Divn Conference of Burdwan Divn.

          Joint Biennial Divn Conference of AIPEU, Gr. "C", Postmen & MTS, GDS, and PWU Burdwan has been completed successfully on 11.06.2017 at Godhulibala Reception Hall, Gangpur, Burdwan. Com Joytirmay Nandi, Com. Adideb Chakraborty, Com. Biswanath Bhattacharya and Com. Sambhunath Bhattacharya presided over the open session. Com Annwesha Biswas, Circle Secretary, Gr. “C”, inaugurated the open session. He nicely described the present situation and our task in his speech. Com. Arup Chakraborty, Dist. Secretary, CGCC, Burdwan Dist. also addressed the open session. Near about 600 Comrades including 40 women Comrades were present in the Conference. On behalf of the Circle unions, Com Bijoy Gopal Sur, Circle Secretary and All India President, GDS union, Com. Sanatan Das, Circle Secretary, Postmen & MTS, Com. Pravat Pal, Organizing Secretary, AIPEU Group-C, Com. Sonachand Sil, Organizing Secretary, AIPEU Group-C,  Com. Manash Khatua, Asstt. Circle Secretary, Postmen & MTS, Com. Goutam Kundagrami, Circle Secretary and Dy. General Secretary (CHQ), PWU, Com. Shib Sankar Roy, leader, PWU, Com. Samar Das, Leader, PWU, Com. Sanjib Barua, Circle Secretary and Dy. General Secretary (CHQ), SBCO, and Com. Asit Das, Ex-Dy. General Secretary (CHQ), SBCO  were also present in the conference. After closing of open session, delegates session was started in separate hall. Divn. Secretary placed the draft report and Financial Secretary placed the audited account before the house. 25 comrades took part on discussion of draft report, audited account and organizational review. Lastly Divn. Secretary given the reply the point arise by the delegates. Circle leaderships were addressed the delegate session.

          Com. Joytirmay Nandi, Com. Deb Kumar Chattopadhyay and Com. Dybendu Saha has been elected unanimously as President, Secretary and Financial Secretary respectively of P3 union from the conference. Com. Rabindra Nath Chakraborty, Com. Md. Maiddin and Com. Ashok Kumar Das has been elected unanimously as President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively of P4 union from the conference. Com. Ashish Das, Com. Ashish Halder and Com. Arindam Naha has been elected unanimously as President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively of GDS union from the conference. Com. Raj Kumar Mukherjee, Com. Shib Sankar Das and Com. Sambhu Bhattacharya has been elected unanimously as President, Secretary and Treasurer of PWU from the conference.
