Letter to the Chief PMG, West Bengal Circle
Today Circle Unions sent (by email) letter to the Chief PMG, West Bengal Circle and communicate the decision of deferment of Hunger Fast programme for two (2) weeks.
Hunger Fast programme is deferred for 15 days
Dear Comrades,
After continuous discussions between the Chief PMG/Regional PMGs of West Bengal Circle and our Circle Union leadership in the last couple of days towards settlement of our legitimate demands, it is decided today (24.05.2022) in the meeting of all Circle Unions (affiliated with NFPE) that the Hunger Fast programme which is scheduled to be held on 26th and 27th of May,2022 is deferred for 15 days.
The Chief PMG, West Bengal Circle has already taken initiatives and issued written instructions to all levels of administration after meeting with them for immediate settlement of our demands.
It is also decided in today's meeting that we will definitely go for Hunger Fast programme again if our demands are not resolved within the stipulated time.
We, on behalf of NFPE group of unions, convey revolutionary greetings and red salute to all the members and leaderships of our divisional unions for creating such an intense and effective atmosphere stirring the administration throughout the Circle.

Demonstration programme on 20.05.2022 in West Bengal Circle
At the call of NFPE group of unions and AIPEU-GDS of West Bengal Circle, demonstration was organised successfully on 20.05.2022 in almost all the divisions of our circle against reluctant attitudes of the administrations at all level to resolve the pending issues and difficulties faced by staffs/workers and whimsical & arbitrary administrative decisions which have made the service condition intolerable.
A resolution with ten (10) demands was adopted by the mass demonstration and submitted to the Head of Circle/Regions/Divisions for immediate attention and steps towards resolving them.
In some divisions, due to unavoidable circumstances, the demonstration is rescheduled on 23.05.2022.
It is further resolved that if the situation does not develop towards improvement and visible consideration in favour of the issues, trade union movement will be launched at all levels including hunger fast.
Red salute and revolutionary greeting to all the leadership and members of all the divisional unions of West Bengal Circle. ✊✊

Filling up of unfilled vacancies of MTS and Postman/Mail Guard of the vacancy year 2018 to 2021
Directorate has decided to add the unfilled 1149 vacancies of MTS and 2121 vacancies of Postman/ Mail Guard of the vacancy year 2018 to 2021 with the vacancies of the year 2022.
