HOLD HUNGER FAST ON 11th DECEMBER 2015 IN ALL DIVISIONS AND 15th DECEMBER 2015 AT YOGAYOG BHAWAN

   The Federal Secretariat of NFPE in its meeting on 26.11.2015 reviewed the situation of strike called on 1st & 2nd December 2015 at the backdrop of submission of 7th CPC report and observation of all other Central Govt Departments countrywide. The strike was decided to be deferred for preparation of a larger struggle exploring broader unity. Also revising the program, the NFPE asked to hold hunger fast at all CPMG / PMG / Divisional Offices on 11.12.2015.

   In a meeting of Postal Coordination Committee, West Bengal on 05.12.2015, where available Circle Secretaries, Circle Office Bearers and Divisional leaders met at Tarapada Memorial Hall, the preparation of the hunger fast has been discussed. As the Bi-monthly meeting with PMG, North Bengal Region was pre-scheduled on 11.12.2015, the meeting decided better not to defer the Bi-monthly meeting as there are some acute problems in NB Region and formal introduction of the newly elected Circle Secretaries would also take place there.

     So, it has been decided that all divisions will hold hunger fast on 11.12.2015, and at Yogayog Bhawan (C.O.) the hunger fast will be held on 15.12.2015. At C.O., all comrades of Kolkata and neighbouring divisions will also attend. 

     The focus of the programs will be the retrograde recommendations of 7th CPC with emphasis to the unwanted comments on GDS issue beyond the Terms of Reference of the 7th CPC. Circle Office Bearers are available to move in different divisions if required. Speakers should equip themselves well enough to strongly present the deprivation recommended by this worst-ever Pay Commission for easy understanding of our comrades.

   Please take maximum efforts to make this hunger fast program successful and a preparatory one towards the ultimate struggle along with all other departments which is under negotiation.
