TEXT OF RESOLUTION FOR TOMORROW'S HUNGER FAST PROGRAM
A resolution is to be sent from tomorrow's program containing following text (released by CGCC) :
This extraordinary general meeting of …..(
name of the union) expresses the displeasure and anguish of the employees over
the recommendations of 7th Central Pay Commission. Minimum wage
fixed is unjustifiably low and a fitment formula was recommended which deprives
employees from a reasonable enhancement pay expected after a long gap of ten
years. Most inhumanly all advances including Medical advance, LTC advance, Festival
advances etc. were recommended for abolition. Many allowance are done away
without any valid reason. Most of the cadre based justified demands were
rejected. Uncalled for damaging comments were made about the status of Gramin
Dak Sevaks. Demand related to regularaisation of non regular employees,
reversal of Pension Scheme for post 2004 recruits and enhancement of pension
were completely ignored or rejected.
Besides anti employee the
report of 7 CPC is distinctly anti people as institutionalization of
outsourcing with massive expansion area was recommended along with redeployment
of superannuated employees.
This meeting demands
immediate initiation of dialogue at the forum of JCM with a view to scraping
retrograde recommendations and amending the recommendations falling short of
reasonable expectations of the employees.
Resolved further that copy Resolution be send to:
a) Finance Minister, Govt. of India, North Block, New
Delhi-1
b) Secretary General, Confederation Central Govt.
Employees & Workers.
