and Postmen & MTS, Barasat Divn.
Joint conference of AIPEU, Gr.
"C" and Postmen & MTS, Barasat Divn held at Karmachari Bhawan,
Barasat, Dist. 24 Pgs (North). Com. Shibapada Dey, veteran leader of Barasat
Divn hoisted the Red Flag of NFPE. Then leadeship paid floral tribute and
homage on martys' Column.
Com. Asit Bangbas and Com. Dulal Sil presided over the open session. Near about 225 Comrades including 25 women were present in the conference. Com. Annwesha Biswas, Circle Secretary, AIPEU, Gr. "C" inaugurated the open session of Conference. He nicely described the present situation and our tasks. Com. Manas Khatua, Asstt. Circle, P-IV, Com. Biplab Kar, Jt. Convener, 12th July Committee, 24 Pgs (North), Com. Partha Goswami, Secretary, State Coordination Committee, 24 Pgs (North) and Com. Nirmal Ch. Dey, Ex-Circle Secretary, P-IV addressed the open session. In addition to this, Com. Anita Thakur, Com. Manoj Shaw and Com. Bibhas Ghara were also present in the conference on behalf of Circle Union. Com Jayant Malakar, Divn Secretary, North Kolkata and Com. Dulal Mondal, Orgn. Secretary, Barabazar HO Branch were also present in the conference.
The Divn Secretary and others placed the draft report and account before the house. 12 Comrades including 2 women took part on discussion on draft report and account. Divn. Secretary replied on all points raised by the delegates.
Finally conference ended with the oath to strength our union specially NFPE as a whole.
