SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF 28TH BIENNIAL CONFERENCE OF AIPEU GROUP C & Postmen & MTS, BARASAT DIVISIONAL BRANCH AT BARASAT ON 19TH APRIL, 2015.

28^th Biennial Conference of AIPEU Gr. C & AIPEU Postmen & MTS, Barasat Divisional Branch were successfully hosted at Com. Nani Banerjee Manch and Com. S.K. Vyas Nagar (Karmachari Bhawan),  Barasat on 19^th April, 2015.  Besides 35 invitees, 184 Gr. C members and 85 members of Postmen & MTS cadre took part in the Conference.  Before inauguration of the Conference, “RED FLAG” was hoisted and Com. Khagen Nag, Partha Goswami, Subhash Chakraborty, Anyesha Biswas, Asit Bangabas, Dipak Ghosh, Sibapada Dey, Rashidul Islam, Sujit Pramanik, Subrata Mustafi, Khurshid Alam, Sudhangshu Das, Rita Bhattacharya, Arun Dutta, Dilip Sarkar, Badiar Jamal,  Gobinda Chatterjee, Dhruba Modak and others paid flower tribute to the Martyrs.

            Com. Dipak Ghosh and Sibapada Dey were nominated to preside over the Conference.  After proposing  tribute to the martyrs by Sri Asit Bangabas, “OPEN SESSION” was started.  Com. Janardan Majumder, Circle Secretary, AIPEU Gr. C, WB Circle was explored the present situation of the Country as well as of the State and the position of the employees of the Department of Posts and approached for organizing mass movement against the situation. 

            Sri Parimal Kr. Mitra, Superintendent of Post Offices, Barasat Division was present as the Chief Guest and delivered his valuable speech.  Com. Khagen Nag, Jt. Convener, “12^th July Committee” and Com. Partha Goswami, District Secretary of State Co-ordination Committee, com. Asim Deb and com. Tarun Roy Banerjee also delivered their valuable speech in the Conference.

            After joint Open Session, Subject Committee Meetings were held separately.  The conference of AIPEU Gr. C was presided over by Com. Dipak Ghosh & Com. Swapan Roy.  The conference of AIPEU Postmen & MTS was presided over by Com. Sibapada Dey, Ganesh Dutta, Pradyut Dam & Dulal Shil.

            Secretaries’ report of AIPEU Gr. C was produced by Com. Subrata Mustafi, Secretary, P-III and Secretaries’ report of AIPEU Postmen & MTS was produced by Com. Khurshid Alam before the house.  Audited Accounts were produced before the house by Com. Rajarshi Majumder & Com. Prasanta Roy, both treasurers of AIPEU Gr. C & Postmen & MTS respectively.  Detail discussion held on both Secretaries’ report and Audited Accounts and accepted unanimously. Total 12 comrades participated on Secretaries’ report. 

            The conference was ended with the conclusion speech and solo song of Com. Dipak Ghosh. The following members are elected as President, Secretary & Treasurer.
